Doing so will get you access to Ornaments that can be used to change the appearance of your armor. I agree, i dont like that each IB we are getting the old sets, i think a solution could be that we gets the same sets from the last season, which were actually new and pretty cool too, obviously they would have the current seasons mod slot, but the best thing they could do is have the older armor sets as ornaments which you could get randomly from spending the tokens with saladin or perhaps.
